Amanda is a higher education professional living in Bella Vista in Philadelphia, PA. She is passionate about education, history, anthropology, and genealogy.
She has 15 years experience researching family histories, immigration and emigration, social and women's history and ethnic groups. She started with her father doing their own family history and became fascinated with genealogy and led to her overall interest in family history and her history degree. She has traveled up and down the east coast searching for family history in churches, town halls, city archives, and cemeteries. Specializing in: Local genealogy and records research in SE Pennsylvania, Immigration and Emigration, 19th and 20th century New England, NY, and Mid-Atlantic Region, Ellis Island records, Ireland, Scotland, England, Jewish, Oral Histories and Interviews, Reports. She graduated from George Washington University with a BA in History and minor in Anthropology and an MBA from Drexel University. |
