Amanda is a educator living in the art museum district in Philadelphia, PA. She has worked at the College Park Aviation Museum, National Building Museum, DC Public Library, and Sidwell Friends School. She is passionate about education, history, anthropology, and genealogy.

She has 10 years experience researching family histories, immigration and emigration, social and women's history and ethnic groups. She started with her father doing their own family history and became fascinated with genealogy and led to her overall interest in family history and her history degree.

She has traveled up and down the east coast searching for family history in churches, town halls, city archives, and cemeteries. 

Specializing in: Local genealogy and records research in SE Pennsylvania, Immigration and Emigration, 19th and 20th century New England, NY, and Mid-Atlantic Region, Ellis Island records, Ireland, Scotland, England, Jewish, Oral Histories and Interviews, Reports.

She graduated from George Washington University with a BA in History and minor in Anthropology. 

She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
